This beautiful elopement at Arthur’s Seat was the perfect example.

These two wanted a wedding day that felt intimate, relaxed, and full of experiences they could actually enjoy together. Arthur’s Seat gave them the perfect dose of nature without leaving Edinburgh. Surrounded by greenery, rolling hills, and views over the city, it felt like a peaceful escape while still keeping the magic of an urban elopement.

After their ceremony, we headed into the city to continue celebrating their new marriage. They stopped at a cozy pub for a drink, soaking in the excitement of being newly married, before adding one of my favorite unique Edinburgh experiences: a “just married” photo booth film strip at Stills.

The day was filled with small moments that made it completely theirs. It wasn’t about following a traditional wedding timeline. It was about exploring, celebrating, and creating memories in a city they loved.

They also chose to add elopement videography to their package, including a video of their day and a professionally recorded ceremony with their vows captured through microphones. Having those words preserved is something that becomes even more meaningful as the years go by.
